Vehicle Detail
There are a ton of photos and a few videos after the description below. Please review all content, ask any questions, and/or come and see this classic in person in order to feel completely comfortable in bidding on this classic!!! 1969 Oldsmobile true 442Numbers Matching400 Olds engine & M20 4 speed 12 Bolt Rear might also be original too!GM of Canada Car Hagerty's Valuation tool has a 1969 442 400 4 speed priced at $19560 in #4 fair condition to $29640 in #3 good condition. I priced this #'s matching classic closer to the fair side even though I feel that it's closer to the good side. So, it's priced to sell at the Buy it Now. Also please feel free to make an offer. Classic 442 paint color of Crimson Red brought into the present with a nice metallic modern day version. Cowl tag shows it to be an original Crimson Red Olds with no vinyl top. Painted several years ago, but still looks great! The grill and headlight surrounds were intentionally painted black in order to give it that blacked out look. There's a walk around video of this beauty after this description. Interior is a Black bucket seat 4 speed console interior. The front buckets were recently recovered, and so was the bottom of the rear seat. Still have the new top for the rear seat. Didn't replace it cause it looks too good. The dash is in great condition, and hasn't been hacked up. An aftermarket radio was added for cruise days and nights. If you don't feel like listening to the nice sound of the trumpeted dual exhaust, the stereo is an alternative. There's a ton of pictures of the interior too after this description. The 400 is numbers matching, and runs very strong. This 442 is a pleasure to drive! The M20 is also #'s matching, and shifts great too. The rear is a Chevrolet 12 bolt posi rear, which makes me believe it's also original to the car. I say that because this a GM of Canada car, and they were built with Chevy 12 bolts from the factory. Another plus is that because it's a GM of Canada car, all the historic documentation can be ordered from them. The 442 was titled with mileage in the 200's at some time. I don't believe this to be accurate with how strong this classic runs. I was told by the previous owner that the engine and tranny were rebuilt. He said he had the compression tested, and he stated it was excellent. There is no smoke coming from this original 400. Again, it runs out very strong. There's a couple of videos of this 400 4 speed riding down the road in this 442 after this description. This 442 will get it even more down the road for those who like to drive! Factory Olds wheels wrapped in Firestone Wide Oval Track poly glass tires. They give this 442 that nostalgic look, and are also great to burn a little rubber with like it's back in the day. This car was previously owned by a bodyman family! It was done several years ago, and still maintains it's solid structure with a nice finish. Pictured is every body panel individually so you can see for yourself. In my opinion the frame, floors, fenders, doors, quarter panels, trunk lid and floor are all very solid. Please review all pictures, videos, and ask for more if needed, and/or come and see this classic before bidding on this '69 Olds 442 400 4 speed. There are some signs of age, but again it's a great pretty driver. Bottom line is that this a Real 1969 Oldsmobile 442 400 4 speed painted in a modern metallic Crimson Red with Black Bucket Seats and console that is an awesome driver that looks good and drives even better. Please bid on this vehicle if you're completely comfortable with purchasing this vehicle.
