For sale is a 1967 MGB, the car runs great, however it will need some bodywork and cosmetics. Pros: 1. Cosmetically, it passes the 10 foot test, it's a great looking car which has gotten lots of compliments 2. Runs and drives fine, I drove it every weekend last summer and never had any issues. 3. New top last summer. 4. New floor pans installed by previous owner, not sure when 5. Wire wheels (much better looking than the alloy wheels). Cons: 1. There is corrosion in front of the left rear wheel that will need to be dealt with in the near future 2. The car needs new tires, currently running on the spare tire, a new set should be $150-200 3. The hood has numerous hail dents 4. The paint is a 6 out of 10, numerous bubbles, scratches, etc, but passes the 10 foot test Overall this is a great little car, it is the MK I which in my opinion is the best looking series of MGB. I think realistic options for the car would be as follows: A. Invest $2-3,000 into the car, deal with the corrosion, fix a few of the electrical gremlins, touch up some of the rough spots on the paint, and you have a solid driver at a reasonable cost. B. The car would also be a great candidate for a full restoration, all original equipment is there, 10/10 MK I MGBs seem to go for around 20,000 so you would have room to invest a more substantial amount without being underwater. I bought this car last year with grand plans to work on / restore it but I just don't have the time.
