Up for sale is an '85 CB650SC. its a later 650 so it has a the DOHC engine. Transmission seems to work fine, clutch is not responsive. I bought it as a project but the engine seized after running for a few minutes and i do not have a place to tear apart the block. I doubt it welded the bearings, possibly a snapped cam or alternator chain. I would like to get 400$ out of it and i will throw in a box of new parts i have. Fork seals, brakes, caliper rebuild kit, turn signal. The good- engines not leaking oil, transmission seems to run through the gears. good tires and new brake pads. plastic side panels in OK condition. 3/4 turn signals are still good to my knowledge. Carbs could use a more thorough cleaning prior to use. new battery. The bad- Engines seized. cosmetically rough. possible parasitic drain on the battery. starting the Bidding at 100$, buyer handles transport/pick up.
