This is a 1968 Dodge Coronet Superbee. The Coronet has been a race car since the early 70's. The car was originally painted B5 blue from the factory. When I got it in 1993 the car was white. In 1996 I painted it yellow. Stayed that way until a few years ago. The car ran consistent mid 11's. Car had a leaf spring suspension at that time. In 2003 my father convinced me to do a Overhaul. We stripped the car down and installed new fiberglass fenders, doors, trunk, and hood. Installed new steel quarter panels. Quarter panels have not been trimmed. Has brand new wheels, front tires and rear slicks. Installed Wilwood front brakes. Has a 8 3/4 rear with 486 gears, 727 transmission with a reverse valve body, engine has a stroker kit with a 700 lift cam. Motor was done by D&F machine shop in berlin N.J. They are well known in my area. No runs on the motor. Motor was built about 6 years ago. Brand new starter, valve covers, 1050 carb, water pump, and aluminum radiator. THE GOOD: Just about everything is new on this car with no runs. Solid car with no rust. Looks great. THE BAD: The car has been sitting. Slicks and wheels only a year or so old but The valve springs will need replacing I think from the engine sitting. I start it at least once a month. But the car should be gone over before racing and be fine tuned. Project to run high 9's. Paint has a couple chips from being in the garage. Nothing major. OVERALL: FOR THE RESERVE YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER DEAL. I AM TIRED OF SEEING THE CAR JUST SITTING. IT DESERVES BETTER. I AM MOTIVATED TO SELL.
