Do damage, no alterations other than a leather seat, which was built to exact BMW standards on the original pan but with Leather instead of Vinyl. The Rocker arms have been converted to roller bearings for a quieter running engine, smoother operation, longevity. All systems are in working order, nothing is missing or broken.Any replacement parts have been genuine BMW, even the exhaust. As the opening said, there is nothing one could do to this bike to make it any better. The tool kit is in place but it is not original to this bike. The pump is in place, not original to this motorcycle but as close as I could get. Being a 1972 and registered in NYS, means this vehicle has a transferable registration, which is the legal ownership. New York did not become a title state until 1973. Their are no liens, all paperwork is in order. Plated in NYS, it drives beautifully without any issues what so ever. There are plenty of these bikes being advertised and sold for less. The difference is it's very easy to spend $2,000 - $3,000 or more just to bring them us to running standards. Doing the cosmetics can cost even more if professionally done. This bike is complete and ready to enjoy. Easy to arrange shipping. I can bring to my place of employment for easy truck access. Most go in a trailer, are tied down and ship without incidence. My price is fair for this quality collector motorcycle. Not to be glib, but I'm not interested in offerers even though e Bay is set up to accept offers. If someone wants it you will be getting a superior motorcycle for a fair price. Thank you.
