1983 Porsche 911 SC 110K MILES Original condition; I am the third owner, having owned this Porsche for 20 years. The second owner was struck in the rear which required replacement of right rear fender; a cut in the hood by the AC compressor was filled, but recently exposed and the rear belly pan and engine compartment sheet metal needs straightening or replacing. Otherwise, the car has had no other accidents and is original. This Porsche is in excellent running condition. During my tenure, the Porsche has only been driven occasionally for pleasure but regularly started and/or taken out of the garage to keep the battery charged and everything in working condition. Since I’ve owned the car, it has had two major trips to the local Porsche dealership for repairs/upgrades. First, the entire steering was gone over, replacing any worn steering/tie rod parts, even the bushing in the steering column was replaced. There is absolutely no slack in the steering. More recently, the shift ball socket, sleeve, coupler, along with the shifting linkage metal and rubber bushings were replaced and shift linkage adjusted. The Fuel filter, fuel accumulator and Oxygen regulator were also replaced along with bushings and grommets in the throttle linkage (have copy of this bill). The original optional 16” Fuchs wheels have been stripped and hand polished. The 16” Z-rated Dunlop directional tires (225/50, 205/55) are in excellent shape with little mileage and wear. Additionally, the Porsche has stainless exhaust system. The factory AC is still all there and worked last time it was charged, but it leaked down. I’ve just replaced the ignition CDI Unit, Coil, spark plugs and tune-up (also have this bill). Close examination will reveal small pits and scratches in the paint listed as Indischrot, India Red and/or sometimes called Guards Red, but overall this original Red is striking. The Porsche 911SC Coupe 3.0L comes with 5-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with the “Sports Package” Whale tail, front spoiler, 16” Fuchs wheels, European H4 headlamps, Custom gathered leather seats, key-operated factory alarm system that also turns off the fuel pump and ignition and sounds an alarm, Air conditioner, Power windows, Power antenna, and Power sunroof. However, all the power equipment may not work properly and should be thoroughly checked. The power windows are a bit slower than modern window lifts. No oil leaks. The title does not reflect the odometer readings as mileage on older cars are not maintained by the Louisiana DMV and are left blank on the titles or may say 100Kplus. The true mileage is 110,114. Serious parties and/or your mechanic may contact me to inspect the Porsche. This car runs and drives great. Title is clear.
