Vehicle Detail
Ultra rare 1970 Grand Prix SJ 455 HO. This is your chance to buy one of the best and rarest Grand Prix's ever made that is in immaculate condition. Ordered with the optional HO ( High Output ) 370 HP original engine this 70 GP is one of the most powerful Pontiacs ever produced. I have owned and driven many GPs including 428 GP's and this particular car is definitely the most powerful and fastest of them hands down. This stunning Cardinal Red SJ has a very unique new performance dual exhaust system that sounds as good as it looks with twin Pontiac exhaust tips. The car has a set of custom 17" rims that have been modelled after the original Pontiac 5 spoke rims with new low profile performance tires and original Pontiac center caps. These tires and rims give the car a beautiful lower stance that the original cars never had while providing much improved handling. The paint on this car is absolutely beautiful, countless hours have gone into polishing this completely rust free body and making sure that the paint is close to flawess and certainly far better than any original paint job ever produced. A brand new factory correct black vinyl roof has been correctly installed over a rust free roof with absolutley no bubbling anywhere, the car was originally ordered with the optional vinyl roof. The front and rear bumpers have been professionally rechromed as well as the rear bumper filler trim pieces that usually fade or pit. All other chrome and stainless is in stunning condition. The interior is factory original and in beautiful condition with flawless door panels and a perfect original dash pad. The carpets are new factory correct black with perfect original black Pontiac floor matts. The original optional wood trim steering wheel has been replaced with a NOS correct factory new steering wheel which is beautiful. The factory optional dash gauge package remains in working order. The factory ordered stereo has been updated to a new digital Stereo that has been installed in the dash to look like the original. and the very cool optional hood tach performs as it should. The car has factory Air Conditionng that has been upgraded and works perfectly and blows cold and needs nothing. The car starts right up first crank and runs and drives excellent without vibration and drives straight as a dime at any speed. The chassis and underhood areas are clean and rust free The car was originally ordered with the following equippmentSJ package455 HO 4 BarrelDual exhaustRally II Wheels307 Axle ratioAir CondtioningRally Gauges and clockAuto Levelling suspensionOpt lamp groupStereo radioConsole ash tray with lampGlove box lampRear compatment LampUnder hood LampDual hornsCorning LampsWhite wall tiresSport Delux wood steering wheelPower BrakesFront Disc BrakesDoor TrimWheel opening mouldingsBlack Vinyl RoofRecess WipersCourtesy LightsCourtesy Door lightsVanity mirrorFloor Console with Buckets seatsRally stripeAutomatic TransmisionPower steeringRear Ash traysFront and rear floor mattsTinted Glass The original included build sheet shows all of the equippment both standard and optionalThere are factory manuals and factory brochures included as well. This is a very rare Grand Prix. This car needs nothing and runs beautifully, you will not be disappointed. The car is located in Toronto Canada and can be easily exported to the USA or overseas. Reliable Carriers in Canton Michigan can transport the car as well can handle the export if you choose not to do it yourself which is extremely easy. There is a 1.5 % US duty fee for a return US car payabl at the border or to your broker. Please do not bid on this car unless you can afford to buy it without excuses. All questions will be answered.
