This auction is for a 2008 Chevy Silverado truck. Please read the details as I'm not sure I picked the correct items from ebay's required list. This truck has had the following replaced in the last 12 months: Leaf Spring, 2 Axles, Brakes, and a transmission that is still under warranty. My son needs a more economical mode of transportation since he goes to school in Rhode Island and has a job this summer in Coney Island. The paint job is rough. The interior drivers side door panel needs to be replaced. There are no upholstery tears that I see. It needs a good cleaning (college student, need I say more?). The driver's door needs to be slammed so the lights go off otherwise the battery drains. In December the batter and alternator checked out fine, even though I wanted to replace them. The truck has sat for the last week and now the battery is dead so, I will need your help in starting it with my jump battery as I don't know how to do this (sorry). Even when running, the battery didn't charge so I'm not sure if I'm not slamming the door hard enough. Thiis truck is probably best to someone who knows more of what they are doing than I do.I drove it last week and it actually rides really nice. I have not idea the details of the truck, sorry, I can't find the info anywhere in terms of trim, packages, and exact model, so please know that I may not have selected the options properly, this is not meant to be deceit in any way, I honestly just don't know. The blue book is over $6,000 but because I'm aware it's an "as is" sale, I'm starting the auction low.Please email with any questions, hopefully I can try to get you an answer.Wendy
