Consignment Sale 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS purchased new by current owner. Car was sold to current owner's father for a while, but now is back with original owner who bought it new in 1985. This SS runs and drives great. The interior is all original and in excellent condition. No rips or tears in seat upholstery. Exterior paint is almost perfect. No door dings. This car has always been garaged indoors and a non-smoker. * Drivetrain: Original 305 HO V8 and 2004R Automatic Trans. 3:73 Gear. No fluid leaks. Miles 107,458 * Options: Power Windows, Power Locks, AM/FM Cassette, Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, Remote R/L Outside Mirrors, Power Trunk Release, T-Tops and Tinted Windows. * Current wheels are Weld Drag Light - polished aluminum. These are somewhat rare as they have been discontinued by the manufacture. Front are 15x7 and rear are 15x8. Current tires have considerable tread left on them and are also a style that is manufacture discontinued - Goodyear Eagle GT II. Front are 235/60/15 and rear are 255/60/15. These aftermarket wheels and tires give this SS and unique look along with the lowered ride height. Lug locks with key socket included. * General maintenance over the past 31 years: Oil changes at every 2K. Trans Servicing at every 30K. Air is R-12 and still blows cold. Compressor was changed a number of years ago, but it was replace with an original factory correct unit. Top of breather was changed to chrome unit. Has new battery. The exhaust is original, except for the mufflers. Both were replace with a factory style units. This car was repainted about 15 years ago. An original stripe kit was ordered at the time of repaint, but it was not applied due to owner liking the look better without the stripes. Owner is currently searching for that kit and if found, will go with the car.
