1970 Honda CT

My father brought this Honda Trail CT70 home brand new in the summer of 1970. I still remember when dad pulled up with it. Actually, three neighbors all brought one home the same day. Ours was red, the other two were gold and a blue....buddies and their toys.. We kids immediately moved forward with burning our legs on the muffler while wearing shorts. I bet you burned your leg on one of these too if you're looking at this ad..lol.Original miles, original paint, original motor, original carb, original seat, headlight, horn, etc.etc.. New tires and regularly well maintained by me personally. I've had work done to it over the years..carb adjustments, tires, etc.. I usually just ride it on Woodward here in Detroit during the cruise. My kids have ridden it a few times but like their quads more...here it sits. Runs and shifts great. Three speed manual no clutch. Everything works, headlight, horn, brake light. Original title in hand, it also has the original key. I have an aftermarket new seat cover that goes with, just haven't had time to install it. Any legitimate offers will get a picture of original paperwork before paying for the bike. There is some light rust under the seat on the top of the frame shown in the last picture. Not quite sure why it rusted there but it did.. At the end of the day this is a good, clean, non restored, unmolested, original condition bike from the original owner. I am not a Honda CT70 expert and am describing this to the best of my ability. Any questions, ask and I'll do my best to answer them. Need any special pics ? Ask and I'll get them in the ad. Also, I've never sold anything on Ebay motors (haven't sold anything in years actually)so if I missed something please let me know. 500$ down payment via PayPal within 24 hours of auction end. Ca$h for balance due when the bike is picked up. Local pickup only in 48009. I wouldn't know how nor do I really want to ship this thing. It would be nice if it stayed local.
