It is time I sell my "BFT", a very unique truck originally modified by a shop that builds attachments for Caterpillar machinery. It has been lifted and fitted with custom Alcoa aluminum 22.5" rims and 11R tires in the rear and 385s in the front. It has a nice flatbed that has 2 fold away 5th wheel hitches, one towards the rear for maneuverability and one directly over the axle for heavy hauls. It also has a standard receiver with both the RV style plug receptacle and a 7 pin truck style receptacle. The bed has four heavy duty D rings for tie downs. There are two Buyers tool boxes and a 225 gallon auxiliary fuel tank connected to a 50' retractable 1" hose. The Duramax 6.6 Diesel has the Edge tuner and custom exhaust. In it's top program mode, it is supposed to put out over 400 hp and 800 ft lb torque, although I have never had it dyno tested personally. This is run through a bullet proof Allison 5 speed transmission and transfer case for the 4x4 system with high and low range. This truck will go anywhere! There is an exhaust brake to help slow it down and the new brake pads and front rotors do the rest. There is a rack with a host of auxiliary lights and warning beacons and inside is a new JVC Stereo with sub, tweeters and USB input. There is a custom built center console that is large enough to work as a desk or a table to hold a pizza box. Inside the console is a standard 110v outlet run through a 1,000 watt inverter. The inside is spacious enough to hold several portable file boxes. There are four cupholders built in, two for cans or coffee cups and two hold "Big Gulp" style cups. Wherever I take this truck it gets noticed. Included with the sale is a goose-neck ten ton tandem axle ramp trailer built specifically for this truck and it's 60" deck height.
