2009 SMART CAR w/SALVAGE TITLE This salvaged car was purchased instead of a $6000 ATV that was used to take our warehouse workers from building to building. We never needed to title the car since it was only used for 1/8 - 1/4 of a mile 2-3 times a day and we certainly didn't care about its imperfections. When we purchased it, the front end was smashed in but the motor and transmission were all OK and it drove just fine minus the noise of the flywheel spinning against the exhaust due to the front end being pushed in a bit. We replaced stuff like lights, windshield, and a bunch of front end stuff just so it didn't look like it had just hit a tree anymore and it was great. We purchased it with 25K miles on it and used it daily up until just last month when we downsized our entire operations and no longer used it for transport. It has a brand new battery (late 2015) and has no issues running or driving. Starts up every time with no hesitation and drives pretty straight. Everything works like lights, blinkers, radio, power windows, power locks, heat and almost everything else accept the AC which has a leak (kinked line from front end wreck) but could be fixed pretty easily if you wanted. We had considered parting it out as the headlights alone are $300 each and the airbag is worth another $600....but we really don't have the time for that project and thought someone else could certainly use it like just like we did or take it back to 100% if they wanted. Obviously the title is in hand and is sold 100% AS IS with no warranty implied and given. We are also selling locally so we reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
