My wife and I are selling our Subaru Forester that we've owned since 2011. The timing belt snapped and we had to have it towed to my parents house. (HOA rules where we live restrict us from having a non running automobile at our house)I had a mechanic friend come and look at the car and he said it would need a new engine. We don't have the time (with a 2 year old) or the skill to replace this engine. But besides that....its an excellent car. So if you put a Subaru 2.5 motor in (dozens even on here) you'll have a great car. We don't smoke so as far as I know its never been smoked in. Its never been in accident and its been very reliable and rust free. The paint looks fantastic and everything works. It has power windows, and power locks. The air conditioner was amazing and doesn't leak. Its not something you have to worry about filling every few months. The transmission was perfect as well, the car had absolutely no problems up until the timing belt fiasco. The sunroof works and is HUGE. The seats are leather and only have some wear on the drivers seat. We had a towel under the carseat when it was in the rear so there is no wear or stains or even marks from that. The front two seats also have seat heaters each with a hi and low setting. Before the baby we had a single wave runner that we used to tow so there is a trailer hitch and power already installed in the rear. All windows (except windshield) and sunroof are tinted. It really has been an awesome car but its time to move on to something larger to accommodate a larger family. The car will need to be towed or winched onto a transport as it will not run. I can help load in anyway I can to make the process easier and we do have transport access to my parents house.
