This is probably one of the nicest TR6 triumphs in the Country if not the best. I have $22,500 invested plus and over 1000 hrs in the restoration that took 2 years of meticulous work. The bumpers are polished stainless steel. All the chrome has been rechromed to show chrome quality. There 2 coats of epoxy primer, 3 coats of red base coat and 3 coats of clear and buffed to a mirror finish. Everyhing has been rebuilt, engine, head, OD transmission, carbs, brakes, suspension, all the glass is new and the windshield is tinted. the wheels have been blasted and powder coated to the original color, the trim rings are, nos originals, top is black stayfast material,rear shocks have been converted to tube type for a better ride, chrome headers and a Monza free flow exhaust system have been added for better performance,new Moss motors carpet installed, all parts removed were blasted and powder coated, that pretty much includes all parts that are not chrome or plastic,machine work performed buy A-1 machine shop and Quantum mechanics, if I missed something please ask. Approximately 1200 miles since restoration was completed. I have 7 British cars and do not have enough time to put a lot of miles on any one of them. I like them and I build them to perfection. This TR6 has never took less than 1st place in any show. It won best of show at an AACA show that was mostly muscle cars, old cars, corvettes T Birds etc and they were all very nice. I'm not bragging but I build my cars to win! I have over 100 pictures of this car before and after in progress and completed. Let me know if you want to see more.
