This is a 22 year old vehicle initially purchased as a restoration project so please bid accordingly. I am looking to sell my 1995 Ford Probe GT. The motor was swapped with one from a Mazda 626 according to the previous owner. It definitely needs body and paint work but the car overall is solid. 155K with about 90K on the motor. Transmission shifts fine and the clutch was supposedly replaced when the engine was swapped out but I can't verify that. Tires got about 40% tread life. I replaced the brake pads on all all four wheels. The parking brake cable needs to be replaced but I can't really get under the car because it's so low to the ground. The interior is in fair condition. I replaced the headliner about a year ago. I also replaced the AC Compressors and filter/drier along with a couple hoses and o-rings. It cools fine but makes a cracking noise at idle. The passenger side door was damaged when I got it but I haven't had the money to take it to a body shop. The rocker panel was damaged but I have a used replacement that is missing the rear mounting tabs. I installed a short throw shifter and new leather OEM shift boot with carbon fiber shift knob. Windows roll down and wipers work. The title is "clean", in hand with no liens or other issues whatsoever. It would be a great project for someone if they have a garage or space and the money which I don't have. I recently purchased brand new cv joints for both sides and a brand new power antenna but I haven't installed them yet but they will be included with the car. I also have a leather bra for the front and a car cover that will also be included. Thanks for looking! On Apr-03-16 at 05:09:33 PDT, seller added the following information: On my original listing I indicated that there was damage to the passenger side door but it is obviously on the drivers side door. I just wanted to make a note of that. I did a full tune up on it about a year and a half ago or so. I installed new plugs, new plug wires, and replaced the distributor with one I bought on Ebay. I also purchased a new oil dipstick because Probe are notorious for breaking. I have some other parts that I will include with the auction if I can locate them, specifically a starter, some miscellaneous parts, and a used Haynes repair manual. I can't promise that I will find everything but I will do my best to look. Just FYI, I replaced the factory fog lamps with an aftermarket set and modified the wiring so they can turn on with just the parking lights without having to turn on the headlights. The car will also come with two key fobs and both are programmed. One key fob does have a "trunk" button that is inactive because the Probe obviously doesn't have that option.
