Up for sale is my garage kept 1995 Mitsubish Eclipse GSX 5-speed. It is my AWD rocket project car. I would never sell this car but I need to make some sacrifices right now. The engine sounds great very deep Rumph sound when I start it, idles smooth, and boosts great. The project is incomplete needs to be tuned to be road legal and I just don’t have the money to finish it. I was thinking about parting it out but don’t have the time. You can find front clips of this car on eBay well over 2500 dollars, not including a AWD rolling chassis($1500), 17” rims, big t3/t4 turbo with turbonetics internals. This car has an expensive 3” custom turbo back exhaust, a turbonetics exhaust manifold with a tail 44mm external wastegate that the dump tube is routed back into the exhaust. The timing belt, timing idler pulleys, tensioner pullies,idler bearings belt, idler bearing pulley, hydraulic tensioner, all have been replaced. The head has been completely rebuilt, without spare in cost, I added a 4-layer metal cometic HP headgasket straight from slowboyracing, ARP head studs, and is ready to take all the boost you want to throw at it. It has brand new from slowboyracing 550cc injectors, new plugs. The manual transmission has been serviced, the previous owner added a clutchmaster 3, while I drained and added Gearshift synchromesh 3 ($120 dollars for just the gear oil). The car has a huge front mount intercooler, with a HKS Sequential Blow of valve, sounds great, you can rev from idle and purge the blow off valve with no problem. I bought brand new Halo headlights for the car off of eBay, but I am having trouble making the right halo ring ignite. The car exterior has a car show quality paintjob with a full Blitz kit, shaved door handles, the paint that is a white pearl and when you look close you can see blue and red metal flake in the paint. The car is fully tinted, the interior can use some work, I didn’t like the white on blue leather interior and I started to convert the interior to black but I haven’t finished the project. There is a 3 pod A pillar for gauges, which I bought expensive Autometer C2 gauges, the boost is full electric ($250+), engine temperature, and oil pressure, these gauges are beautiful during the day and amazing at night. The body has 118k on it which is low for the year, but the engine and turbo only have under 20 miles of road test. The hood is VIS racing carbon fiber hood, these are over 500 bucks new. So you are getting all the parts included, the car starts, idles great, revs amazing, and the car is a guarantee head turner that no other eclipse looks like. From my personal inspection, the clutch slave cylinder needs to be replaced, over the years the shaved door handle actuators stopped popping the doors so you have to open the doors from the hatch, this needs to be fixed by buying new poppers, car has a sunroof which is great for the model, you need to install your own CD player that is not included. The front windshield I spent 200 replacing the glass, finished the welding exhaust for the new turbo, and the hood wasn’t latch and cracked my windshield (oh the irony). The headrest have cutouts of wear the TVs were from the previous owner had it as a show car. I bought it from him, not running for $3500 in 2006, since then I invested over $5000 dollars in my build, but it’s time for me to move on. I Hope this car finds the right owner to finish my nearly done project and enjoy the monster that it is, again this car needs a tune, since when I hit full boost I reach fuel cut. I suggest you pick it up on a trailer, since its AWD you can’t just haul it on two wheels, also if you want to have a professional shipping company, I can work with them, make sure it’s loaded and send you confirmation when it leaves my place. Title is clean and in hand. Get this project car before anyone else does there is not that many left and this one is one of its kind. It is being sold locally so buy it now if you really want it.
