On 29-Jan-16 at 19:26:19 EST, seller added the following information: A little background info..... I am a second generation master craftsman, carrying on a family tradition which began with my father in 1938. I've been building since 1971 and this car was a labor of love, my own design, hand crafted and built over a three year period. It was put on the road in 2009 and it runs and drives as it should. ....smooth and tight, performs well and gets about 20mpg. It is a real attention getter and a lot of fun to drive. ....somebody is about to acquire a very special automobile :-) - For prospective buyers south of the border: Taking possession will not be a problem as I will deliver the car personally with enclosed trailer and handle import paperwork. On 31-Mar-16 at 23:47:48 EDT, seller added the following information: Additional video footage from March 2016 trip to Las Vegas, Pacific Coast Highway Cruise. More will be posted in the coming days as we cruise Hollywood and attend the Del Mar Nationals ! https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=YCWYj-2zwVwOn 02-Apr-16 at 02:48:51 EDT, seller added the following information: New message to: Hello , the car is titled as a '34 ford V12....this is a car guy's car....it is a great driver and with an able detailer could be awesome...I just don't have the time and am in the middle of major home renovations and simply need the cash. I've set the reserve well below what the car would be worth if it was a fresh new show car because it is used and a very cool driver which COULD be a show car in the right guy's garage . It has a few scratches and minor cracks which are visible if you look closely. The car hasn't been driven 1,000 miles in the last few years as I've been busy building a new shop and renovating my home, so this trip is really the first opportunity I've had in a long time to do some serious driving, I've put on about a thousand miles in the past week and I've found the car to be smooth and solid, tight without rattles, (tires have 1,000 miles on them) needs an alignment which I would attribute to something worn in the front end(?) although there are no rattles etc, it does wander under braking at highway speed. Mechanically, otherwise, the park brake needs to be adjusted and I never did get around to installing a horn. Not sure if it is the air here or a result of ethanol but the carbs seem to need tuning....ok on the highway, but sometimes seem rich at idle. I just installed all new weatherstrips and the doors, roof etc close a little tighter than they should. I replaced the carpet, was rushed for time intending to finish when I got to Phoenix in my friend's garage but forgot to bring the carpet with me and there is a piece missing on the firewall in front of the pedals. I'm in Ventura right now and will be heading off to the Del Mar Nationals in the morning and will be taking more pictures then. Gerry P.S.: While trying to be as objective as possible with the description of condition I hope I'm not making her sound like a polished turd, as wherever I go I have people admiring, taking pictures etc...she gets a lot of attention ;-) On 03-Apr-16 at 02:49:03 EDT, seller added the following information: Additional Video Footage taken March 31 and April 1 2016 as we drove from Ventura to Monteray up the Pacific Coast Highway! The first clip features the retractable roof operating and the last 2 are a 2 part of an interesting portion of the scenic drive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCIKTRdwamk&sns=em http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bH4_WbdDwE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-QweBIKptEOn 03-Apr-16 at 10:20:19 EDT, seller added the following information: ... What road testing is all about... Grease on wheel = bad wheel bearing.
