Vehicle Detail
This vehicle ran fine. It was a no start after I drove to a doctor appointment and came outside to leave. One click and nothing. I had it towed to where I was getting suspension work and tires with an alignment. That was done, they couldn't get it to start. I had it towed to MB World in Wilkes-Barre PA. They diagnosed and came to the assumption the fuse box needs replaced. I tend to think it's the key fob and tumbler for the key; simply old and worn. Their estimate was disgusting and I had it towed home, where it sits, where I attempted a few of my own diagnosis. It cranks once and then nothing. Key fob doesn't want to sink with the vehicle. The key fob could be the only problem, but MB says differently. I will include the write up from MB with the vehicle. If it is only the fuse panel in the fuse box, then that is a simple two our replacement anyone can do with patience. The panel is easy to access and a no brainer to replace. I drive an old 190e, runs great and is now my daily driver. The ML320 was my daily driver, now it can be someone else's daily driver or project. The alternator alone is worth three hundred bucks, tires worth six hundred bucks, you get the idea. THE GOOD: Vehicle had recently been tuned up. Oil changed, synthetic only. Full Synthetic oil only from the time it was new. Zero leaks. New universal joint, new tie rods and ball joints here and there, tires new, brakes new. Brake rotors were replaced by me. I installed upgraded cross and drilled rotors. I intended on towing my bass boat with this vehicle; never did. Vehicle has a tow package and front push bar protects the grill. New front bumper due to a parking lot mishap; girl backed into it lightly. Full size spare tire with original rim. All other electrical works. Vehicle was ready to go another 100K miles. I intended on driving it until at least 300K miles. Leather is in good condition. Please review the photos I provided. THE BAD: That is the only major bad, no start. Cosmetically, tiny surface rust spots on edges here and there, nothing someone can't touch up. The rear hatch needs repainted. The driver's door inside panel needs replaced. The panel needs replaced because I slipped on ice, grabbed the handle, and ripped that sucker off. Door operates as it should. That's about it. Radio works fine too. Final Sale: Winning bidder/buyer is fully responsible for the transfer of title and removal of vehicle within three calendar days from end of auction. Vehicle is sold As-Is, Where-Is.
