1966 FORD mustang convertible Candy Apple red paint Paint is original as gets on this mustang, fairly rare to see one so old and have original paint still. This will make someone a nice little spring project, not completely rusted up like so many are these days. Please consider this a project in need of complete restoration, the mustang is in need of inner rocker repair, floor pans, new floor pans included, new inner rockers also... Floor pans are sitting in place ready to start work again. Misc metal repairs needed. Previous owner started the floors repairs and then the rest is history.. Shock towers and front rails look real nice, rear rails also can stay with little work. Doors, hood, and deck lid are in pretty nice shape, all glass is complete and in good condition. Windows do roll up and down but need a good lube... Stainless window trims as nice as you will find and in very good condition and complete.. This is a power top car from the factory. Convertible top is in great shape, latches are not broken and the top does fold up and down.. Gauges, buttons and knobs are in place with very nice dash pad and factory radio still in place... I doubt the gauges have ever had a screw taken out of them, very nice !! Included with this project is a date coded 1965 V-8 289 engine, and a c-4 automatic transmission.. consider them both needing rebuilt as I have no history on either This is a nice little project, candy apple red convertible in original paint, no hidden body work... an excellent valuable mustang in restored condition The mustang rolls and steers, all steering linkages are in place nothing broken or bent..
