For sale/Auction I have a special and perfect running and driving Toyota Pickup truck with a full swap Mercedes OM617 motor known for its reliability, fuel economy and torque. The swapped 2.7 Mercedes straight 5 cylinder motor has just 128,000 miles on it verified with receipts. The truck has over 10,000$ invested and its all been done professionally with reliability in mind and secondly cosmetically its a beautiful swap. The frames on the older Toyota Pickups are much better than the Tacoma models and 4runners. This frame is immaculate, like new condition minus a little dirt but NO rust. There's no ECU to worry about and its fast, water proof, EMP proof and gets close to 30 MPG! Read about this swap, its a very sought after swap and parts are easily found. Transmission, transfer case and everything but the motor are Toyota. 4x4 works beautifully, new clutch, lots of new parts that made sense to do while conducting the swap. The tires are almost new as well, glow plugs work. Its a 5 speed manual transmission. The body has a few miles over 200,000 in fact about a quarter million miles but its in fantastic shape. I hand selected the truck from Oregon where they don't have the Minnesota rust problem. The frame is like new condition. The driver's fender has a peculiar rust hole in it but you'll notice the cab corners and bed, quarter panels etc. are all in fantastic shape, drives very straight and has wonderful power. A lot more power than the original 22RE and the 3.0 v6 known as 3.Slow.I have driven the truck at all speeds, gears and can tell you that its running and driving tip top. Things that don't work with the swap are AC, and cruise control along with the Tach. The truck has a specially designed Speedo cable ordered from Marlin Crawler and that works perfectly! Power steering works great now that it has a custom bracket. Bottom line what you're getting in this truck is durability, reliability, AMAZING off road capability and extremely good economy to boot and a VERY solid 95% rust free truck. There is no rust along the bottom of the doors, there's no rust on the bed, or frame or anywhere besides that one front left fender.What you'd have to expect from this swap and this old pickup::: Some wear and tear in the interior, faded paint in some areas a little bit of rust.It has a few external aftermarket gauges. Two to be exact, a water temp gauge and a oil pressure gauge that's important because it has a turbo now!
