Vehicle Detail
This is a 1974 Suzuki Titan T500 that is currently not running The bad news is the engine is stuck. The good news is: I've started this restoration with many NOS parts. The carburetors are freshly fully rebuilt, including the rubber o-rings. The fuel tank has been professionally cleaned inside. The outside has been professionally painted to its factory correct original color and clear coated. There were no dents in the tank and no body filler used at all. The fuel tank graphic decals are NOS factory correct for this bike, except they have been clear coated over -which the factory should have done and never did. The side covers have also been painted to factory correct original color, with NOS decals applied and cleared over also. All of the (impossible to find new) metal badging emblems on the fuel tank and the side covers are original to the bike and have been restored. The air cleaner and the battery box are original to the bike and have been professionally cleaned and restored. The seat has been recovered with a better quality,(and more expensive) than stock seat cover that was a dead match for this bike from a high quality aftermarket. It should last many years. Fuel petcock has been completely rebuilt with a new screen and NOS rubber gaskets and O-rings. Oil tank has been cleaned out and rebuild with NOS rubber gaskets, New handlebars, mirrors, turn signals. NOS brake light assembly. Clutch and brake perches are new. New chain. Chain guard (impossible to find new) is original to the bike and it's been cleaned and epoxy painted. I have a new battery for it that comes with the bike and the electrical leads to and from the battery have been replaced and shrink wrapped. Seat trim and fuel tank trim is NOS. It doesn't appear the engine has ever been opened yet, and that was going to be the next step if I had the time to finish it. I think it would be a nice little runner after that engine gets sorted out. I've set a low reserve price at 1500.00 - 2000.00 less than what I acctually have into this bike. It's more important for me that someone gets to enjoy this bike and make it their own. Thank you and good luck.
