For sale is this beautiful 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo S. It is equipped with a 2.5L 4 cylinder engine with 5 speed manual short shift transmission. This is not just another 944 Turbo, this is the last year model of the 944/958 Turbo which means it came with all the extras of the 1988 top of the line Turbo S. Which means it has a bigger turbo, brakes, adjustable Koni suspension LSD transmission etc. The 944 turbo S's suspension back in the day was state of the art, it consists of Koni adjustable shocks in the front and rear, with ride height adjusting threaded collars on the front struts. It is very clean, well kept, and mechanically sound. It has a CLEAN TEXAS TITLE & CLEAN CARFAX. It was used personally as a weekend vehicle and was garage kept by previous 2 owners. It is a turn key car with NO MECHANICAL ISSUES, its a very nimble, fun and quick vehicle to say the least! I got the Porsche dyno'd and it showed 265WHP 258 foot pounds of torque. The clutch was replaced in August of 2015 and has excellent grip and strength left. The tires have about 90% tread remaining and the factory chrome Porsche rims are in mint condition, no curb checks or rashes! It has an aftermarket ram air intake. A recent oil change was done, it has only been driven 250 miles on it. The plugs, fluids, timing belt and ac service were done 3 weeks ago. It has very expensive and nice Recaro seats I have the FACTORY SEATS for the Porsche which are in MINT condition. I can include those in the sale as well. I have a very nice aftermarket Pioneer stereo installed in the vehicle, that along with the seats are the only after market parts on the Porsche. It does have a 52mm dual pillar pod with 2 gauges installed on the driver side, one pod shows AIR/FUEL ratio an the other shows boost. It is tuned to push 17 pounds of boost, it handles it with ease. It starts immediately, idles great, it has the stock exhaust system. Everything works as it should in this Porsche, the windows, locks, AC/heater, sunroof, seats all work properly. In 1989 there were only 1,385 Porsche 944 turbo's which were exported to the USA, which makes it a unique and rare car on its own. It takes someone who understands the history behind this particular year and model to appreciate its greatness.
