Here is a fantastic example of a completely original 1988 Mazda 323 GTX. Only 1240 of these cars were imported into the states, and few are left. It is rare in it's form of a turbocharged, 16v, twincam, AWD, with locking center diff. This one is without a doubt the nicest one I have seen and I have owned three. It is 100% rust free and the body is very straight with only a few small paint chips. The car was a California car It's entire life and always garaged. It does have a set of newer Koni struts, and tires, as well as recent brakes front and rear. It is also a manual window and sunroof car which add to the rarity and also has the analog instrument cluster instead of the problematic electronic one which was a expensive option. Everything works on the car including the A/C ! Crack free dash and windshield. It runs and drives like new and is a ton of fun. Now the downside. The car was backed into years ago and the front hood was damaged along with the radiator. The car was issued a salvage title from the state of CA, supposedly it was processed as a plain 323 and not a GTX. You can see some of the light scratches on the original bumper from the accident. I originally purchased this car to start a rallycross project / Racer but it is far to nice to turn it into that. I have set the reserve low on this auction and hope it goes to someone who will appreciate the rarity and condition of it.
