Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is this extremely nice '78 Cordoba Crown Coupe (very rare model). I am the 3rd owner - last owner had it from 1984-2015, and kept meticulous detailed records, and it was garaged the entire time. Excellent Dove Gray paint, black Corinthian leather, black vinyl roof, with the "crown" light bar across the top. Tires are Cooper Cobra G/T's, P235/70R15, with lots of tread left, on chrome mags. I put a full-size spare in the trunk for practicality. Engine is the 400ci model, and it runs fabulous! Has the Mopar valve covers & air cleaner, on an Edelbrock 650 carb. It replaced the "Leanburn" unit for obvious reasons (it's included). Odometer shows 106,328. No smoking, no missing...it runs perfect. Trans shifts great. The interior is awesome too! Headliner is perfect, original carpet, seats are very nice, but driver's has some crinkling, since it's used the most. No rips. Dash looks great. Power windows, power seats, rear defroster, digital clock. Has a super JVC stereo system/tape deck with speakers on rear shelf - sound is terrific! Glass is all good (with exception od a small chip in windshield that has been repaired), and power windows go up & down fine. Chrome is nice, especially grill. Top of back bumper has a little fading. No rust. The only 2 small problems that I can find is with the driver's seat; at one position in the different positions, it comes out and skips to next notch if you lean back with a lot of weight. I have a small strip of wood under it to keep it from doing so. The other flaw is the lens on the light bar is broken for about 7" at the curve on right side, as shown in close-up. You'll look a long time to find a nicer Cordoba... it gets thumbs up wherever you go, and it got a First Place trophy at the first car show I took it too, an all-Mopar event. For a car that's 38 years old, it looks very nice! Other items included (but not in photos) are the original space-saver spare and the inflator for it, owner's manual, sales brochure, Leanburn unit with air cleaner, a clear title, and a huge stack of records for everything done since 1984. I can assist with shipping, but it is up to the buyer to make arrangements. I am located in Springfield, OREGON. Good luck bidding! You won't be disappointed with this beauty...
