1971 CB350 in derby green metallic. The good: Idles, runs and shifts. New clutch cable (black). New front brake cable ( gray ). New tires, tubes and rim strips. ( about 25 miles on them ) New mufflers. New battery. New mirrors ( aftermarket ) New points, plugs and condenser. New petcock, fuel lines and filters. New carb needles, seats and float bowl gaskets. New seat cover. New drive chain. New solid state rectifier . ( Oregon Cycle ) Inside of tank is clean. All lights, gauges , switches and controls work. Clear title in my name. The not so good: Fork seal leaks. ( Bike will come with new ones to install ) Joint between header and new mufflers leak. ( I have the extra gasket sleeves that came with the mufflers that MIGHT fix this, no guarantees ) Rear brakes are bad. Horn does not work. ( its the horn, not button or wiring ) Tank has multiple dents One piece of plastic side cover is slightly broken (pictured ) Chip out of headlight shell ( pictured ) Needs new paint job. Typical pitting in most of the chrome as expected on bike of this vintage. Has an irregular throttle while going down the road. I think its due to the exhaust leak, but not certain. I don't have the ability to do a compression test, but the bike idles steady and took me down the road with plenty of power last fall. Bike did not smoke at that time. I started it up yesterday ( started on the third kick ) after sitting all winter and it did smoke a little bit out of the muffler leak I mentioned on one side. Had a couple of people ask last time, to answer anyone else, this is the minimum starting price. I take pride in describing things as good as possible, but I am not perfect nor a professional mechanic, bike is being sold as is, please keep this in mind when bidding.
