Vehicle Detail

1971 Ford Torino Squire Station Wagon, Big 400M with a C6 Auto (B&M Shifter). Factory A/C car (parts missing) Power steering, Power Brakes, Hideaway Headlights I bought this about 4 years ago and had the engine rebuilt, Installed new rear air shocks, Front springs and shocks, New rear tires last year. Car runs and drives however it does need some work. I went to use it a few weeks ago and the power steering quit working, Not even going to look at it. The front end makes all the usual Ford noise and feels a little loose, I would suggest it gets looked at before any long drives. There is some rust in the rear door area and in the lower fender and doors. There is some checking in the Black mat on the roof. The Wood Grain has been removed and Shaved door Handles. There are no poppers installed. All Glass is in good shape. Brown Vinyl Interior is in good condition for its age, There is one small cut in the drivers seat area, Headliner is good, The Plastic trim could use some work. The rear compartment fold down seats have been removed. The rear window works from the dash, but not from the handle It starts with a tap of the key and has great oil pressure on start up. After it warms up the oil pressure drops off. I have been told several reasons for this 1) its a 400, its supposed to, 2) Move the Oil pressure tube from the back of the block to the filter area, 3) you have a problem. This car runs great and with its 2bbl carb will flat out smoke the N50 rear tires, It would be a complete beast with a 4bbl. My plan was to drive it like I stole it, then drop in a 302 when the time came. It hasn't let me down yet and doesn't make any noises it shouldn't. Green or Burnt Orange Satin paint was also planned. The car is worth more in parts than the starting bid, working Hideaway headlight assy $1500, C6 Auto $500, 9 inch rear, $800, not to mention all those hard to find wagon only parts. I have lost interest in the car and its time to pass it to someone who will spend the time on it that it needs. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING Car is Sold AS IS WHERE IS, and will not leave my driveway until funds have cleared. Shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer. Arrangements can be made to view the car. Please ask for any additional pictures
