For sale is a 1965 289 mustang with 3 speed manual transmission. Car was purchased in 2004 as a running and driving car with intention of restoring it. At the time of it's purchase it was a good driver, had small bubbling in rear quarter panel and hole in passenger floor pan that would require patch or replace. As well as rear right drum needing replacement pads. It was parked, with the battery disconnected, in a garage. Unfortunately life events and other projects got in the way. As a result it has sat in that garage for the last twelve years. Engine turns over freely by hand, but has not been started in twelve years and would advise draining fluids and checking lines before attempting to do so. The issues that it had when parked, remain. The passenger floor pan would require sizable patch or replacement. There is rust on the driver side pan, but appears only to be surface. Bubbling in rear quarters (see pictures) though they feel solid. Interior is complete. This is a car to restore, or be a decent daily with some TLC.
