1997 JEEP WRANGLER SAHARA CALIFORNIA JEEP NO RUST I was just informed (3/7/16) I have to leave on a business trip (3/11/16 to 3/21/16) if you are planning to drive it home it has to be after the 21st. If you are going to ship it home it's ok they can come anytime The Jeep is in great condition, almost 20 years old but it drives great,, I'm the second owner of the jeep I bought it on 2014 a bought a 06 Tj so these one's got to go... It's one of the best 90's sahara I be seen around very wheel kept look a the the pics. EXTERIOR The paint is in great condition for it's age, it has the original jeep green factory paint. some scratches from normal use. the previous owner kept this jeep inside his garage just look at the paint The flares where repainted see last pic, you can see the clear coat that pealed off. It has one large scratch on the left door and another scratch on the hood see pics. also the hood has some rock chips. The tires have about 60% life left, they are goodyear wrangler 225 75 15 The frame is in excellent condition no rust, I uploaded one pic where I sprayed armor all so you can see how clean and shinny it is.. it looks as if it came out of the factory it's never been repainted. working fog lights The spare wheel cover has some cracks so I haven't revomed the cover What can I say about the frame, pictures don't lie it's a California jeep the frame looks as if it just came out of the factory ,, it's dirty but if you clean it will look brand new, see the pic where I cleaned and sprayed some armor all it looks like new... never repainted or underseal coat. INTERIOR Green sahara seats, original just look at them they are great, no rips the driver seat has an ink stain see pics. Im preatty sure the top never came off.. the roll bar covers are also in excellent condition The carpet is also in great condition no stains only a few on the trunk,, it has 2 front original floor mats The door panels are not faded,, very common on TJ's It was a non smoker jeep no strange smells. leather wrap steering wheel Cold A/C Original stereo cassette (I don't know if the player works I don't have any to test it but the stereo and speakers work great. Rear trunk deck It has both airbags no issues. both work fine No engine or service lights on the odometer The boot or shift cover is loose (see the center console picture) The leather wrapped steering wheel is in bad condition the leather is cracked on the top part where you put your hand, so I installed the steering wheel cover. ENGINE It has a 6 cilinder 5 speed engine 4.0L it's the best engine chrysler jeep has ever built (in my opinion). very strong drives great no oil leaks or check engine lights... very strong engine.... I took it to service about 500 miles ago,,, replaced filters engine oil and spark plugs the previous owner told he replaced all the engine gaskets (kit) about 3-4 years ago, so you have at least another 150k miles to go with this engine gaskets age with time they get dry and crack so you have to replace them... the tranny is also great no leaks 4x4 works as new. Im pretty sure this wrangler hasn't been off road... Since I bought another jeep and not using this one I didn't renew the tags for 2016, so If you are in California I will renew them if you are out of State you can just register it as is.. The jeep is sold as is. I did my best to disclose all information about my jeep I could miss some small details like scratches, stains etc. so please be aware, this is a used car (almost 20 years old)
