Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!!! This bike is part of the "Classic Kustom Cycles" motorcycle collection here in Las Vegas / Henderson, NV. You are bidding on a over-the-top radical, Ground Up Build - 1965 Triumph TR6SC SHOW Chopper. This bike is a over the top wild show chopper that was built by world renowned Master Bike Builder Paul Ponkow of "Bones Legacy". Completed in 2002. Paul has been featured in over 130 custom motorcycle magazines in the world and also had a full TV episode on Counting Cars on the History channel restoring "The Big Twin" from AEE choppers. Paul also has been invited back to back to the Master Builders Championship. Multi champion of Ultimate builder in retro class, and winner of 100 other bike shows for his attention to detail. This bike is show quality and was featured in Street Chopper Magazine March/April 2003 among countless others. Every piece has been chromed, and / or show polished and looks Fantastic. The beautiful ultra orange and passion purple, one of a kind paint job glows in the sunshine. The original 1965 Triumph frame was modified and hard tailed. Front end is a RARE "Durfee" 6" over girder. 6'11" Sissy bar is one of the bikes highlights. As For the Engine, it is a desirable 1970 TR6R bottom end with a dual Carb Bonneville head. Paul freshened it up with .020 over Hepolite pistons and rings, stainless M.A.P valves, rocker arms, Boyer electronic ignition and dual Amal 930 concentric carbs. It also has a rare finned primary cover. The bike starts easily, runs good, and sounds great with the "sky high" pipes! It shifts through 1st and 2nd gears but does not want to shift into 3rd or 4th so it will require some minor attention. This may be due to the 4 foot tall grenade shifter... This Triumph also has a long list of very Wild Custom parts such as the 12" Z-bars on 9" risers, Amen gas tank, Santee oil tank, ribbed Wassell fender, REAL War bird taillight and REAL Aris headlight. The front wheel is radial laced to a spool hub and has an Avon Speedmaster 3.00-21 tire. Rear Avon 5.00-16 tire is mounted to a HD style 16" rim laced to a factory Triumph hub / brake. Both wheels have Buchanans stainless steel spokes. All the hardware is new chrome. Titled off the frame and comes with a clear Nevada title.
