1997 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4 5.4L Ford Modular V8. Truck has heavy towing package with a Class III hitch and a 7-pin connector. Vehicle body is in fair to good condition. Some dents and scratches on one side. Paint fair overall, no rust. Engine runs but has a blown out spark plug in #8 cylinder that will require a helicoil style repair. Dorman makes a repair kit for this. Wiring connector for the coil pack on this cylinder is broken and needs to be replaced. Truck also needs an alternator and a battery. Four wheel drive system works perfect in all ranges (2WD, 4WD high, 4WD low and Automatic 4WD range). Truck has oversize LT295 /70 R17 off road tires with about 50% tread. Shock absorbers were replaced about 1 year ago. The truck can be jump started and it can be driven onto a trailer. Overall the vehicle is in good shape for a truck with over 300,000 miles on it. Please note, this vehicle will not pass smog with the #8 spark plug issue. This is an OBD-II vehicle, and the computer senses the missing plug and sets a code. Vehicle needs more work than I'm willing to put into it. This is still a solid truck once the above items are repaired. It's very capable off road and has done very well in the snow. I have a clean Georgia title in hand.
