Up for sale is this 1978 Volkswagen Bus. Originally bought new in Honolulu Hawaii and brought to upstate New York in the 80's. Bus was driven until 1996 and put in the barn when the owner passed away. I purchased the bus from the estate last year and have replaced the battery, rear brakes, rear wheel cylinders, cleaned out the gas tank and replaced the fuel lines and fuel filter. It runs and drives nice. Fuel gauge does not work but everything else seems to work well. The vehicle is very solid, some minor rust as seen in the pictures but still very presentable. Looks like it has had one repaint which I would guess in was done in the late 80's. Has original jack, newer tires and protect plate. Windshield has small stone chip but will pass inspection. This vehicle can be driven as is or restored to your standards. This vehicle has a clean New York State title.
