This is a true factory Highboy - Dana 44 Front End - NP435 4-Speed Manual Transmission, - Divorced Dana 24 Transfer Case (4-Lo,N,2,4-Hi) - Dana 60 Rear End with 4.10 gears. The Good: 390 cid Engine runs very strong. No Smoke. Doesn't Use oil. Fresh rebuilt Edelbrock 1605 (600cfm) 4 bbl Carb. The Cast-Iron 4v Intake is native to a 390 Mustang, I believe. Running gear is all working. I just drove this pickup 450 miles from Oregon. It's all together. Exterior lights all work. Steel grille off a '67. It's in VERY good condition. Surprisingly good. The Bad: The body is shot. There's not a straight piece on it! Makes this a great candidate for a 2wd long bed F-250 swap. Find body off a nice 2wd, and the swap is pretty straightforward. Bed bolts down. Cab bolts down... Think about it! The Ugly: Mirrors are junk. No factory Bumpers.. but who cares if you did the swap? Homemade front bumper is a monster. No choke cable.. Needs one from LMC probably. This truck is ready to work on the ranch. Take to the mud .. Or my personal favorite.. roll into the shop for a full body make-over. Your choice. You won't find a running driving 67-72 Highboy for this price! I've owned 5 of these trucks.
