This 1972 TR6 is a jewel in the rough. At some point many years ago it was repainted from its original Sienna to red. It needs to be repainted, but has a very straight body. The frame is very good and the only rust through on the body is on the lower left front fender and the rocker panels. You will receive a new set of rockers with the car. The hood release cable needs to be replaced and the hood has the latch removed. It is with the car. The convertible top needs to be replaced, but the frame is good. The interior is presentable. The carpet is missing from the seat forward. The floors are excellent as you can see in the pictures. The car has not been driven in several years. It has only had two owners and the last owner bought it in 1984. It was not used in the winter months which accounts for the low mileage. I was told the miles are actual. The engine runs strong and starts quickly. To get it running again required cleaning the fuel system, a new starter, battery, spark plugs and carb tuning. The compression is excellent. It would not take much to make this car a dependable driver. It would be a good candidate for a first class restoration of a low mileage car. You may call 252 241 3601 with any questions.
