Located in Mississippi, this police cruiser was purchased new by a small city in our neighboring state of Alabama, the government agency used it as a patrol and investigator car since new in 2008. The unit was recently replaced with a new one because of age, not replaced because of issues or problems, we purchased it directly from the agency along with some other items, not from a broker, dealer or auction. It cranks right up, drives down the road good, engine is very strong, transmission shifts great, cruise control works, air condition works, tire condition is good and can clearly be seen in the photos, brakes work properly, not leaking anything, running hot, burning excessive oil or anything. The car did sit idle not being used for about a year after it was replaced so we would suggest a good servicing since it has been sitting idle for some time, the car really needs a paint job, has quite a few scratches around it especially where the department scraped the city and police decals off, it also has glue from the decals, the glue can be removed with lacquer thinner just takes a while to do but will still have quite a few scratches, body has several dings, dents and scratches all around it but nothing major, the roof and truck have a few plugged holes where it once had a light bar and antenna, the headliner is falling in a few spots around the edges, the center console between the front seats is open or actually gone – look at photos, the headlights/headlight covers (clear) is stained/faded, what you see is what you get, paint job would make it nice, looks a little rough exterior cosmetically but good strong running gear, engine is peppy!
