This 1968 Volkswagen Double Cab is ready to take you on your next adventure. Runs and drives great. The first picture is from a photo shoot earlier this month. It is for an upcoming Summer catalog for a national clothing line. The engine was rebuilt less than 5000 miles ago and runs smoothly with no smoking or oil loss. The transmission shifts properly with no grinding. The truck rides wonderfully and stops properly. The body was recently refinished using DuPont products (now known as Axalta). It is a base/clear paint and is excellent with no damage and has been buffed out to a beautiful shine as seen in the pics. It was painted inside and out. The bed and interior were painted with custom bed liner that was tinted to the same color as the paint. It is an exact match. The interior has been refinished with new seat covers and all new panels. The floor boards and rear under seat storage area have been bed lined to match the paint and holds up much better than paint. The factory rubber mats were then placed over the top. Custom Perlon carpet as used in early Porsches has been installed. The front doors were rebuilt with all new trim, seals, and tracks. There are new door seals, engine lid seal, and all window seals were replaced. And the roof rack is new.
