Selling our 2000 VW Beetle . This is a 2 owner car , we bought it from the original owner in 2005 or 2006 and have had it in our family since . This car has near 144,000 miles . It is inspected until April 2016. In March of 2015 I put a brand new battery in . In March of 2014 (4) high quality Firestone tires that are 65,000 mile rated and they have been on for approx. 24,000 miles .The tires are still pretty nice . The car is equipped with sun / moon roof and it does work fine . The radio works fine . The heater and air conditioning works fine . My daughter drove this thru college and over the last 8 months every day back and forth on Interstate 99 from Altoona to State College to work with no problems . I usually put a quart of oil in about every 4-6 weeks or so . The check engine light and the ABS light have been on in the dash display for years with no issues . I never invested in changing or checking sensors . The check engine light will go out now and then . As mentioned , no issues . Front quarter panel has a little damage as shown where she went up over a curb a few years back . Replaced the strut when that happened . The fog light also was damaged then . In the back seat there is a burn hole in the seat from the previous owner . NOBODY SMOKED IN THIS CAR FOR THE LAST 10+ YEARS ,, no odors in this car . Interior ok for its age no major problems . Has some stains from coffee and the such . Overall runs pretty good for its age , great for starter car or if you need a small car for around town . Easy to drive, park and goes pretty good in the snow. This has been a good car for our family for over a decade now . SOLD AS IS , NO WARRANTY . No returns . thanks for looking .
