Up for bid is a 1973 Cadillac, two owner car, same owner since 1984. When he passes away he was in the process of freshening up the original interior, new floor carpet, etc. Car has ZERO rust anywhere, and under the car looks brand new, rear differential is painted, looks like brand new exhaust from the manifolds back, new springs, shocks, etc. Car rides GREAT, and runs and drives. It will need a tune up as it had not run for 6 years when we got it last month. We put new gas in it, and she fired right up! Motor is all original, including all A/C parts, never been spliced or messed with. Tranny is all original as well. Gas STINKS like old shelac and will definitely need the gas tank dropped and rinsed, and gas lines blown out. But she will start and run! Oil looks good, as car drives very well. Car was always garaged, never left outside, and the body shows it with no rust. Tires will probably need to be replaced, and the car will need a general tune up. Brakes work great, no issues there it seems. Seats are all original, no cracks in the dash. Needs a few interior parts to complete, like door switch bezels, etc. as they were unfortunately lost when his estate was split between the heirs. Windows all go up/down (with help!), top relays click but top won't move on its own. We have not diagnosed anything on the car, we just took possession of it and are selling it as we are not big car guys. Hood is perfect, no dents, and no bent hood corners. Hood hinges seem to work as they should and are not all work out. Top is perfect! I mean perfect, no tears, rips, splits, etc! Original back glass with defroster. Windows are all very nice, no big scratches, and no windshield dings (original windshield it looks like to me) Trunk is great, no rust whatsoever. Car looks like it has had a repaint at some time, same color white. Missing one hubcap. Comes with a bunch of spare parts, including new trunk carpeting, extra seat back surrounds, etc.! In summary, pics tell the story, this is a no rust 1973 Eldorado that you can drive and enjoy while working on it! No warranty, as-is, where-is.
