Vehicle Detail
1951 Ford "Period Correct" mild custom. This 51' was a body/frame off restoration built approx. 4 years ago. Engine: Rebuilt Flathead with Offenhauser aluminum heads, Merc Cam, Borded 30 Over. Offenhauser intake with two deuces. Vintage Air Conditioning (blows ice cold) Engine has less than 500 miles on it, reliable enough to be a daily driver. Transmission: Stock 3 Speed on the tree with Overdrive (works)Brakes/Suspension: All new OEM Shoes, Drums, Hoses, Cylinders. All new Powder Coated suspension components with new Detroit drop springs in the front and rear. Tire/Wheels: 1955 T-Bird Steelies with OEM caps and rings wrapped with New Firestone Wide Whites. Frame: Media Blasted and Powder Coated Body: 100% Rust Free. Frenched Headlights, Antenna. Dechromed with mild molding added. One Piece (Roll Down) rear passenger window conversion. Painted with Top of the line Spies Heckler paint. All new glass/weather-stripping. All new chrome plating on the entire car. Original 1951 California Plates. Far too much to list. . ...Interior: Top grain red leather seats, door panels. New carpet, all new gauges (all work). Completely hidden Alpine MP3 system with Rockford speakers. Wiring: Entire car was re-wired with an OEM replacement harness. Every single nut/bolt on this car was meticulously gone over with a fine toothcomb. I used the best quality products in the restoration of this vehicle. I also tried to keep this car period correct as possible, using only USA made products most of which were NOS items. Everything works and rides like a brand new car. I built this car with the intention of it lasting for 100 years but a new home forces my sale. This is without a doubt the nicest Shoebox I have ever seen. I'm sure you'll agree once you see it. 27,500K OBO. Serious inquires only please. Also, if your interested in discussing the vehicle feel free to call me at 951-522-2729 On Jan-25-16 at 15:47:42 PST, seller added the following information: 1951 Ford "Period Correct" mild custom.
