This car is as it was delivered from the factory. In 1995 they only produced 448 of these engineering marvels. It has been part of a local collection. The ZR-1 Corvettes had the all aluminum LT5 V8 and a six speed manual transmission. The LT5 put out 375hp, and was a technological triumph for Chevrolet. The LT5 was the brainchild of Lotus engineering and produced by Mercury Marine for Chevrolet. The ZR-1 was definitely the highlight of the C4 generation Corvettes.
