Up for auction today is a 1997 Doge Avenger with a Mitsubishi 2.5 Liter V6 engine... History Car only has 72,400 original Miles on it...This car was my fathers car that he bought used in 1999 with 51,192 miles on it... I have the title in Hand showing all details & mileage...As you can see he didnt drive it much...A few years ago he gave it to my son to have for his first car...My son never bothered with it and its been sitting in my driveway ever since.... Mechanically I started the car last year and it started right up after charging the battery.. Prior to my dad giving the car to my son, It drove fine..Its just been sitting since so it will probably still run and drive fine.... Mechanically the car will need a new battery, tires brakes and rotors...My son bought brand new brakes and rotors last year that are in the trunk of the car and come with it... As you can see in pics the tires are flat and dry rotting and the rotors are rusted..The tires will take air but with the combination of rusted rotors and dry rotted tires, I dont know how much I would trust driving it home from here if thats your intentions.. Flatbed may be the better alternative but its your call.. Cosmetic Condition Car needs some work to make her pretty again, There are a few small dents but nothing major..I did notice that the body is rotting in front of the rear wheels on the quarter panels, And as you can see, The paint is faded..So, In summary... The car will need some light body work, rust work and a new paint job.. The interior is nice aside for some wear to the drivers seat but it will need a very good cleaning!
