The "E24" BMW M6 has become an important piece of automotive history as it represents the first generation of the iconic M6. It was critically acclaimed throughout its lifespan for its elegant yet aggressive "shark-nose" styling, its luxurious interior and its impressive performance. The vehicle is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, a power sunroof, heated front seats, power seats with driver memory, a tape player, power windows, cruise control and more. The car’s heart and soul is a 3.5L 6-cylinder engine producing 256 hp. The original M6 transmission was removed last year and replaced with an E30-generaton BMW M3 transmission. The swap has given this M6 closer ratios and added reliability. This is a Canadian-spec vehicle with an impeccable CarFax report and no accidents. The car has only had 2 previous owners, but the second owner had it for the majority of its life (1993 to recently). It spent most of its life in Vancouver and was not exposed to snow. The BMW M6 can be distinguished from other E24 models by its larger front air dam, a rear spoiler, color-matching side view mirrors, M badges on the grille/back and slightly larger front brakes. Only 1,767 E24 BMW M6s were ever built for the North American market (135 of which were built for Canada).
