I am selling my 1963 Ford Galaxie 500, this car belonged to a family member who had owned it since the late 70's. I have receipts for a lot of work that has been done to the car periodically over the years. This car was his pride and joy, and comes with many extra parts that he accumulated over the years. Including an extra front windshield, gas tank, generators, tail lights, chrome strips, hub caps. He was in the process of a full restoration and that is why the chrome trim is currently in the truck, however health issues hindered his progress. I have not driven the car because the brakes need work however I know that it has been started a few times every year for the past 5 years and moved around, but it has not been on the road for 5 years because of health issues. The car will need to be trailered home. It does have a 3.7 straight 6 with a manual 3 on the tree transmission, the body is very good for its age and just has surface rust which you can see in the picture. The headliner need to be replaced in the car but I have a new one that goes with it, the tires are in good shape and I believe the batter is also newer and holds a charge. I have been told the radio and heat work. This would be an easy restoration job, or just put it back together and enjoy it for what it is, I bought the car from my family in hopes of seeing someone take this old girl and enjoy it.
