Due to a neck injury I am slowly selling off some of my collection of cars that I can no longer drive comfortably. This is a 1976 Lancia Scorpion Montecarlo Spider S1 which was painted to look like Giselle from Herbie goes to Monte Carlo. I purchased from the Gentlemen that runs the Herbie the Love Bug website and owns Herbie himself.I have a ton of receipts, parts, etc. The car has some rust on the hood in the usual spots but otherwise is in good condition. Engine was rebuilt with some high performance parts and has a nice exhaust sound. The thermostat switch is working intermittently so the car can be driven but it would be best to direct wire to the battery or have repaired prior to any real driving. It is a 40 year old car so it is not perfect but it does have a nice interior, newer tires, starts right up and is a blast to drive. I guarantee you that you will never see another one. I have seen these sell for $4000 not running and in really bad shape. The last picture is what the car can look like and this one sold for over $20,000.Car has a clean CA title in previous owners name.
