Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1972 Chevy Blazer. The car was used as a beach Cruiser since I purchased the vehicle a little over a year ago. The car was regularly driven on the sand last summer. I am selling because the brakes recently gave out. I could not rationalize replacing the brake system without completely restoring the vehicle. I also just graduated from college in December and plan on moving away from the beach and therefore don't have much of a need for a car like this. First off the car has a strong motor and will turn over the first time, the battery has a bad cell but will run no problem from a jump. The body is in very rough condition. If I was not selling I would have purchased a donor body. The frame is very solid with no rust. 4wd works perfectly as well as the locking hubs. One of the rear brake bleeder valves snapped off so it is not very drivable and will need to be towed. The car can drive up on a trailer no problem if need be. The white fiberglass top is gone. The emblems and trim as well as original door panels are currently off the vehicle but included in the sale. Overall a nice beach/summer car or potential restoration project. Clear Title is in hand. I have all of the original manuals and warranty paperwork as well. Obviously there is no warranty and I am describing the vehicle to the best of my knowledge. That being said you are better off asking questions or stopping by to see the vehicle to understand what you are buying. This is a no reserve auction and the highest bidder will need to deposit $500 USD at auctions end, full payment is due within 7 days of auction close. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
