Up for sale is my beloved 540i 6. These pictures were taken earlier in the week, and I can provide more upon request. This is a NO RESERVE auction, highest bidder takes it all! I don't know where to begin. This car has been maintained very well over the years during my ownership and the one previous owner's. The oil has been changed regularly with full synthetic Mobil1. The 4.4 liter V8 paired with the 6 speed manual transmission not only is very RARE to come across but is also ecstacy to drive. 291 hp and extremely torquey, this thing will go, but also handles fantastic for a relatively big, comfortable car. And with only 121k miles, the engine has a ton of life left. I REPEAT THIS IS A SERIOUS 6 SPEED MANUAL, NOT AN AUTOMATIC TOY. This car is perfect for someone who enjoys driving but also demands a certain level of comfort and practicality. It really is the ultimate driving machine that BMW advertises. As expected from a 1997, there's typical wear and tear as follows. There are small chips in the paint on the hood and front bumper, nothing really noticeable. There is one very small knick on the drivers side front fender, as well as a scratch on the rear bumper. One of the wheels is slightly stained, and another is very slightly bent with a little road rash. If you're interested I'd be glad to send you more pictures. The interior is extremely crisp. Most of the red dots on all the electronics work. There is one cosmetic flaw that isn't too noticeable, an inch cut in the center console armrest (under where the drivers elbow sits). There is no lock for the glove box but it can easily be opened with a flathead. Other than what I've listed the car is perfect. I also have the original manual. Feel free to ask me any questions.
