For sale is a classic 1967 GTO hardtop painted in its original Regimental Red with a black Cordova vinyl top. This fine muscle car was assembled in GM's Kansas City plant and sold by Mid-City Motors located in Beaumont, TX. The in service date was January 21, 1967. The car comes with the original owner's manual and Protect-O-Plate. Included with this Pontiac is full PHS documentation which reveals the car was born with many desirable options including the powerful 360 HP HO motor, power windows, air conditioning, Safe-T-Track 3.23 rear axle, Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission and the ultra-rare red plastic fender liners (see photos for more detail). The original YZ block has been replaced with a 400 CI Pontiac YA block. All other original engine components are believed to be intact. The trunk compartment is clean and rust free. There is no spare tire or jack. The car rides on beautiful Rally II wheels. The black interior appears to be original and is in excellent shape with the exception of a torn seam in the driver's seat which is highlighted in the photos. The radio is the original AM pushbutton variety but is not working. The A/C system has been converted from R-12 to R-134a refrigerant. This car is fast, runs very smooth and the power brakes and power steering work flawlessly. This car is NOT a trailer queen; I believe cars should be driven. I take the car for occasional drives, primarily to Pontiac events and short jaunts to the store. The car is always garaged and the battery is kept fully charged with a battery tender which I will include with the car. If you envision yourself taking a beautiful muscle car on leisurely Sunday drives and don't mind the "Hey, NICE GOAT!" comments, this car is for you.
