Matching number 1600 cc motor, 5 speed transmission, and it still wears its original (and highly desirable) factory Tangerine 6809-H (Blutorange) color. This is a Texas car and it has a straight and solid outer body with only limited rust. The underside has rust in the typical 911/912 areas including the main floorpan and front trunk area. It also has a rusted fuel tank, and other isolated areas that will need attention. Jack points and rear torsion bar mounting areas are solid. The front hood has surface rust, but no perforation, and it is clean on the underside. Repair panels are readily available from several sources at reasonable prices, but you will need to do your own research on labor costs to install them. The original motor turns over but no attempt has been made to start it. The car is more or less complete with the exception of the door pockets, spare wheel, and keys. Yes, this 912 certainly needs work, but it is a great candidate for restoration and will be stunning when complete. Good luck, and let's complete this transaction like gentlemen- Terms: This car is stored at my home in Santa Barbara, CA. It can be shown easily, and I am happy to do this during the auction period.
