1972 Detomaso Pantera Original numbers matching car No Rust Ever Three Owner Car 1st Owner Bought by the owner of Ford Dealership, Wilmington, Delaware. He had 2 Panteras --1 stock and 1—Road Rally Racing. 2nd Owner Both Panteras given to a late 60’s gentlemen who owned a tire dealership in Wilmington as collateral. 3rd Owner Myself. Purchased the stock Pantera in 1981 and drove it to New York with no issues. BODY Original Color Silver 1984 Was stripped down to metal both inside and outside. One scrape/dent on left side front quarter panel was the only body work on car. -The Front Air Dam, Delta Wing, small wing, radiator vents on hood and Euro--style roof mount antenna all from Hall Pantera (California) were put on. -The car was painted Porsche Guards Red and Gotti 3-Piece Rims were put on. -All chrome as blacked out. -All Emblems removed. Drive Train 2008 Engine, trans, fuel tank removed from car Engine – Rebuilt Heads Ported and Polished along with Valve Job NEW: High volume water pump 100 amp. One wire alternator MSD distributor and coil, Tach Adapter Box Summit Control Box High Torque Mini-starter Meriah Radiator Fans motors DeTomaso Aluminum valve covers and Billet Air Cleaners Crane Cam with anti-pumped up lifters Braided Hose from oil pump to top rear of engine block for better rear-cam lubrication Mechanical Oil gauge in engine compartment Center Force Clutch/Pressure Plate/Throw out Bearings Clutch slave cylinder with braided steel line to clutch master Master Cylinder Braided steel brake lines on all four wheels Shift linkage bearings Transmission flushed and refilled 4-Half Shaft – U-Joints Heavy duty Larger rear sway bar with polyurethane bushings Billet Sway bar holders FUEL TANK Clean and treated with POR-15 tank sealed on inside and painted on outside Braided steel fuel lines from tank to electric fuel pump mounted on firewall and braided Steel lines with fuel pressure gauge to Holley Carburetor with one inch spacer Custom fuel inlet put on with Indy-styled gas cap installed Gauge package added in engine compartment with oil / alternator / volts Aluminum billet Expansion Tank Rear Wire harness re-routed A/C lines and condenser removed Engine bay cleaned and painted INTERIOR Custom overhead console Remote starter push button switch Electric fuel pump switch Fuse panel under arm rest Custom arm rest with compartment Hydraulic emergency brake valve installed (hand brake handle and cables removed) LED lights in gauges in and console New style fuse box installed Hour meter for engine installed Custom Steering wheel THE BAD Tires are old with “flat spots” 1 or 2 brake calipers are not fully releasing Four (4) paint cracks or blemishes (See photo) 1.
