Vehicle Detail

2007 Honda Civic EX coupeOne ownerRuns and drives great!299,200 highway milesGood: I bought this car new in 2007 and have been the sole owner/driver. Runs and drives great! No exterior rust! Drive it anywhere, I have and would not be afraid to continue to do so. NEW ENGINE shortblock installed at 165k miles. Installed by a Honda dealer using a NEW shortblock assembly. This was a factory recall style replacement due to the original aluminum used on the blocks being too porous. It leaked which was the only time the car has ever let me down. Power windows, locks, premium audio. New radiator, coolant and battery at 287k miles. No leaks, no warning lights, no excuses....still a great car at a great price - you will not find this good of a deal on another of this body style. I liked this car so much I went out and bought another new civic.Less than perfect: I will be long winded here as I know this car like the back of my hand, and want to make sure I disclose everything there is to know. Car has been smoked in, but not in the last year - I don't notice it. Tires are in great condition (60-70% tread life left), however they are due for a rotation and do make a bit of road noise. Brakes are newer with plenty of wear life left, but they do vibrate at speed so a rotor or two may need turned (new rotors were installed with the new pads recently). There are some dings and scrapes on the body (hood dent, rear bumper cover scrape poorly touched up, dings on roof and side). The interior is in pretty good shape, but it does need detailed. One small hole on the side bolster of drivers seat from getting in and out. Pretty dirty from working out of the car. 99% of it should clean up well. Power moon roof works, however may need grease as it is struggling to close under it's own power. I don't really use it, but a little assist by hand gets it closed. Trunk does not open using the key fob as it is supposed to. Front door speakers are blown, but they come on randomly every once in a blue moon to make sure you're good and awake. The car was in 2 accidents since the time I have owned it. The first was the car vs. a deer which is the source of the small dings on the top and side. Zero structural damage. The second accident was at 287k miles with light cosmetic damage. The radiator was the only non-cosmetic damage and it was replaced with a brand new one along with a new front bumper cover and a used hood (which has an existing dent in). I have put 12k miles on the car since the repairs were made with zero issues. The AC does not work. The compressor coil went out ($100ish part) which was set to be fixed when it was wrecked. The condenser still held pressure following the accident, however I decided to not bother putting it back in due to being bent and having a bad compressor coil. I still have the condenser and body parts that were removed during the repairs, and also have photos of the damaged car prior to the repairs if you would like to view them prior to purchasing. NO airbags have ever been deployed. The car does have a rebuilt salvage title due to the last accident, however it registers and insures like any other car. I still have full coverage on it and have put 12k miles on it since the accident repair.
