Located in Raleigh NCSelling a beautiful 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser. I will start by saying that if you are concerned about rust, this vehicle is the one for you. It has been meticulously maintained all its life and condition shows. It has spent half its life in South Carolina and the rest in North Carolina. I have a clean Car-fax report in hand, clean NC title and bill of sale. It is all original except for the LED tail lights. The sunroof works and does not leak. All chassis parts have been upgraded/ replaced. (struts, ball joints, etc.) The leather on the front seats have the typical wear from the sun over the years. The middle and 3rd row seats are in great shape. The engine and transmission are bone dry, free of oil or corrosion, even underneath. when I say bone dry, I mean BONE DRY. It is missing the rear running light lenses (someone unscrewed them and stole them in the middle of the night. All wiring is intact. Interior is in fair condition overall. Frame is 100% rust free, and still has factory coating from Toyota. The body is 100% rust free other than a dime sized spot of rust under the back window ( typical for this era) There is absolutely ZERO rust under any of the doors, gate or seams on rocker panels. This model does not come with the electronic lockers. It has a Reese hitch with the wiring harness to hook up to a trailer. The tires are about 85% tread, with no dry rot or bubbles etc. Brakes are firm, no shaking from warped rotors or anything. When braking it is nice and even and firm. The brake pads have more then 3/4 worth of material left. The engine runs quiet, no smoke or noises. Valves are quiet, and it runs as smooth as a sewing machine. I would not hesitate to drive this vehicle cross country. I have spent significant time behind the wheel and it has been dependable every day of the week.
